Opening:

The regular meeting of the NWC Trail Blazers was called to order at 7:07 pm on
April 19, 2007 at the Putnam Firehouse by Randy Moore.

New Business:

Grant procedures discussed. All list of work done for 2006/2007 need to be given to Carolann to enter into Excel forms.

National Grid contract - request for renewal to be done by April 30. Randy will contact Jim Jennings for Insurance certificate. Letter will be sent with other information required.

Barry and Paula Wilson attended the NYSSA annual Forum & meeting in Rochester, NY April 13-15, 2007. Barry discussed some of the points of interest and classes he attended.
Next years Forum will be held in Niagara Falls.

Bob Waite Golf Tournament will be August 11. Senior from Ticonderoga as our student for the scholarship is in the works. List of eligible seniors is attached.

Adding new trails was discussed. An interest in including trails to make a loop as now all trials just dead end. Deadline for new trails submission is June 29th.

Barry wants to do another Fund raiser. His idea is a Steak Bake. June 9th was a suggested date, need to check on other fund raisers in area on the date. It was decided that we should pre-sale dinner tickets so we would know how many were coming. Time and menu were discussed - for more information or to volunteer to help contact Barry Wilson.
Randy was offered a Sap House for the club to use. The issue were discussed - no final decision was made. See Randy for more information on this matter

Good Will:

Kevin Battease is recovering from Back surgery. He is doing well and attended the meeting. We all wish him well in a speeding recovery.
